Children's Book, The All time Favorite By Tony George I love reading children's book since I read these more than any other type as a mother with small children. I hope this counts . . . Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson Childrens Book A witch flies along on her broom with her cat until she loses her hat. In the process of looking for and finding her hat (and then her hair bow, and her wand) she also gains additional passengers on her broom that help her out when she gets into a sticky situation. I love the rhyming scheme of this book. It is cleverly written without the trite or forced rhymes I have sometimes encountered. The illustrations are beautifully done and tell the story effectively. My favorite character is the "dog that is keen" mostly because he describes himself as such. I would definitely recommend this book to others--it is appealing to children and entertaining to adults. Thankfully, I can read it over and over without groaning. Found the book at the library and loved it so much I bought it for my children. It is a favorite.
